PixtoFlix was initially funded by the Dementia and Me Innovation Fund and carried out over the last few months in Whitstable and Hythe. We hope to secure more funding to expand the project in the near future.
Very excited to be working with Liz Jennings Creative on Pix to Flix – a new project funded by the Dementia Innovation Fund, . The idea of the project is to work with people living with dementia, selecting a limited number of photos from their albums in order to make a short film. We’ve been working on two examples in Ashford: Sylvia Perkins and Martyn Gardener who are both helping to produce excellent short films. The main project will take place in the New Year in Whitstable and Hythe. Please get in touch if you know anyone who might be interested in taking part.
