Ashford’s Hidden Treasures – 6

Posted on July 20, 2021 by jasperbouverie • Posted in community, education, heritage • Tagged Ashford, Ashford Kent, Durham, history, Locomotion, locomotive, National Railway Museum, railways • Leave a comment

This object, far too large to be ‘hidden’, is nevertheless easy to overlook because, having spent all of its working life in Ashford, it’s now in Durham. Would be very interested to hear from anyone who worked on it/with it.
