This week.. One of the many heroic achievements of World War 1. Ian Wolverson is organising an exhibition of the many letters written to Elizabeth Quinton Strouts at St Mary’s Church Great Chart between 31st July and 8th August. The exhibition is to mark the centenary of the unveiling of the village war memorial on 4th August 1921.

Episode 3 in Hidden Treasures and a visit to the fantastic museum in Tenterden for a wonderful object created in 1974 – http://www.tenterdenmuseum.co.uk/. The museum is open now from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm throughout the summer. Many thanks to curator Robin Wilkins.
