Really delighted to announce a new project: Ashford’s Hidden Treasures. The aim is to talk to the custodians of museums and archives in the Ashford area about their collections and to invite them to do a zoom interview about their single favourite objects… can’t wait to see what they come up with!

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we will also be talking to representatives from National Museums about objects in their collections which originated in the Ashford area. The Crundale hoard is on our list, as well as a wonderful steam train at the National Railway Museum in York.
